Job Purpose:

Responsible for curriculum design/development, implementation/facilitation, and evaluation/continuous improvement of divisional training programs for various staff levels. Responsible for synthesizing information and feedback from multiple sources into curriculum. Helps define comprehensive learning strategies and improve effectiveness of training programs.

Requirements:

Requires knowledge and application of adult learning principles, effective presentation/facilitation skills and flexible enough to assist a wide range of learning challenges. Strong ability to create dynamic, eye-opening, highly interactive, and fun educational experiences to optimize learning. Excellent communication, platform, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management. Must have analytical abilities in order to evaluate programs for impact and effectiveness. Knowledge and skill of coaching practices and performance improvement planning. Organization development knowledge and web-based course development a definite plus. Ability to work with multiple groups and synthesize information into effective and quality training program. Proven experience creating training strategies that align employee needs with business objectives. Strong ability to handle a multitude of projects and tasks simultaneously; works independently at a high level while functioning as an active team member. Experience using in Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, Knowledge or content management systems. Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree including a minimum of 5 years experience with instructional design and training facilitation (i.e. sales, customer service, phone sales, technical training, communication skills, or other soft skill based areas) or minimum of 5 years experience in performance management and implementation of learning solutions that support adult learning and instructional design principles in a variety of delivery channels (e.g. classroom, self-study, job aids or eLearning) with a minimum of 2 years supervisory/ management experience required. CPLP certification preferred. Requires a valid driver’s license.
