![]() Workforce Management Certification Become a Certified Workforce Planning Professional (CWPP)! SWPP Announces Workforce Management Certification Program We finally have our own certification! The Society of Workforce Planning Professionals (SWPP) has created a certification program designed specifically for workforce management professionals. The certification program is open to anyone in the industry, but is geared to the workforce management professional who has several years of experience in different call center environments. The certification allows the recipient to use the following title after his/her name: Certified Workforce Planning Professional (CWPP).
Tests are taken on the web and must be proctored. Click here for proctor guidelines. After the completion of a test, the proctor must sign a validation statement stating that the test was taken fairly. Click here for the proctor validation statement. This statement must be faxed to 615-352-4204 before test results will be released. Each test can be taken separately, or, if desired, all three tests may be taken at one time. Students receive test results upon completion of each test. The project is designed to be a “real-life” example of workforce management skills to demonstrate the application of knowledge. Sample projects will be created and approved by the SWPP Board of Advisors to make it easier for students. However, students may also submit proposals for other projects as well. Click here to view sample project submissions. The cost for the certification is as follows: Study materials for the certification are available on this website. However, there is no requirement for any student to attend any training. Applicants with experience in the field may have gained their knowledge through a variety of sources and it is only important that the knowledge be demonstrated through the certification process. SWPP’s education partner, The Call Center School, is responsible for the development of the competencies and tests. The SWPP workforce management certification has been validated by Dr. Gary T. Miles, PhD. Click here to view the certification statement. Click here to review the competencies for the CWPP designation Click here to view Study Materials for CWPP certification. Once certified, individuals must continue their workforce management education through seminars, conferences, and other educational opportunities. There are a minimum number of educational credits required each year to continue as a Certified Workforce Planning Professional (CWPP) or Associate CWPP.
