Position Title: Workforce Planning Representative
Job Location: The Woodlands, TX

Job Summary:
This position is located in The Woodlands, Texas as a member of the Human Resources Talent Management team.

Qualifications:

  • Oil & Gas industry experience preferred
  • At least 8 years of experience gathering and analyzing workforce metrics
  • Must have broad knowledge of various organization design schemes (asset, matrix, line, etc.) and
    experience modeling organization charts
  • Possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze problems, conduct research, and evaluate options for action
  • Ability to interpret and transform data from numbers into a succinct, actionable story for executives
  • Possess excellent oral and written communications skills to influence decision makers
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects in a team environment
  • Uphold confidential and proprietary company data and information
  • Broad experience working with workforce analytics and organization modeling software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other applications

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative workforce data
  • Conduct workforce modeling and trend analysis, incorporating trends and key economic indicators, to develop forward-looking forecasts and predictive analytics
  • Conduct analysis of current workforce demographics and create multi-regression analysis of future employee demographics
  • Provides expert advice and consulting services to line and senior management in the area of organization design
  • Develops organization structure alternatives to achieve business objectives with an optimal and most efficient design
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and internal clients
  • Partner with HR Business Partner colleagues to help facilitate workforce planning for their clients’ needs
  • Provide analytical support for data collection process to support Workforce Planning Manager
  • Create and present analytical reports – both written and graphical
  • Support the future development of the workforce analytics index to identify key factors of the health of the workforce
  • Special projects as needed

Education:
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Behavior, IT, or a related field required; MBA, MA or MS degree in Human Resource Management, I/O Psychology, Organization Behavior, IT or Organization Design a plus

HCS, SWP, PHR, GPHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred

Organization Design certification(s) by an accredited certifying institution is also strongly preferred

Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience

Relocation:
This position is not eligible for domestic relocation

Travel Requirements:
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0-10%

Work Schedule:
This position is eligible for the 9/80 work schedule
